As the Graphic and Layout Designer for andi Magazine, I was responsible for shaping the visual identity and editorial flow of Volume 2, the 2025 Winter Issue. This issue centred on the theme of multi-faceted women–highlighting the layered experiences, perspectives, and stories that define their lives and work. My role involved translating this theme into a cohesive visual language that supported and elevated the editorial content. Through thoughtful typography, composition, and pacing across spreads, I worked to create layouts that felt both engaging and intentional, allowing each story to resonate while contributing to the narrative of the issue as a whole.

For each article, I developed layouts that responded directly to the tone and subject of the piece while maintaining a consistent visual framework throughout the magazine. Imagery, colour, and spacing were carefully considered to complement the voices featured in the issue and to reinforce the brand identity of andi. The goal was to balance individuality and cohesion–ensuring that each feature felt distinct and expressive, while still fitting seamlessly within the broader aesthetic of the publication.

In addition to editorial design, I also designed the advertising placements for the issue. These ads were created to integrate naturally with the magazine’s visual style, maintaining the integrity of the reader experience while supporting partners and sponsors. By aligning the ad designs with the publication’s overall aesthetic and layout system, I ensured that promotional content felt like a thoughtful extension of the magazine rather than a visual interruption. Together, these elements helped create a polished, cohesive issue that reflects both the brand of andi Magazine and the diverse stories of the women it features.
