For this project, I developed a preview of a document layout and visual design for a law firm’s informational publication focused on intellectual property. The goal of the design was to present complex legal information such as trademark definitions, registration processes, and related concepts in a format that is clear, approachable, and visually engaging. I created a structured layout that organizes the content into clearly defined sections and questions, helping readers easily navigate the material while maintaining the professional tone expected from a legal publication.
In designing the document, I focused on balancing readability with strong visual branding. Typography, spacing, and hierarchy were carefully considered to guide readers through the frequently asked questions format while keeping dense legal explanations easy to follow. I also incorporated branded visual elements and a cohesive colour palette to align the document with the firm’s identity, ensuring that the design reinforces the firm’s credibility and professionalism while still feeling modern and accessible.
The cover design establishes the visual tone for the document through bold colour gradients and atmospheric imagery, creating a memorable first impression while maintaining a polished corporate aesthetic. Throughout the layout preview, I emphasized clarity, consistency, and thoughtful information architecture so that the final document can function both as a client resource and as a marketing asset for the firm. This project demonstrates my ability to translate complex professional content into a refined, user-friendly publication design.
